National Stroke Week 2023

Aidacare's National Stroke Week saw in excess of 1,000 Occupational Therapists (OTs) attend more than 60 events held right throughout Australia.

Our equipment specialists were on hand to demonstrate the latest range of assistive technology available that enables a stroke survivor to live a fulfilling life. 

In addition to sessions covering "Daily Living", "Customising Manual Mobility for Stroke Survivors" and "Travel Assistance", there was an inspirational presentation from occupational therapist and stroke survivor, Emma Gee, on "Living with a Stroke".
